FIDTR has a three-pronged vision, which is to:
- Be the Gold Standard and premier centre of excellence in the arena of UAVs including remote pilot training, R&D, safety protocols, and repair and maintenance.
- Accelerate India’s transition to a global hub for Drones.
- Ignite economic and employability opportunities for the work force in multiple sectors.
FIDTR’s Mission, paired with a team of experts, is to:
- Develop and provide cutting-edge remote pilot training.
- Deliver skills and knowledge that significantly increase the trainees’ on-the-job productivity.
- Provide skills that benefit trainees to become efficient and motivated working professionals.
- Deliver need- and demand-based training solutions.
- Develop and deliver a Drone R&D Ecosystem for birthing state-of-the-art drone (UAV) technology, and sector-specific application modules through in-house Incubation Centre.
- Serve as a platform to develop application-specific skills required for deployment of Drones in varied sectors like agriculture, infrastructure, Logistics etc.
